Jill Vonnahme

Jill has over 10 years of experience representing individuals in a variety of areas of immigration law. She has dedicated the past five years to advocating for women, children, families, and members of the LGBTQ+ community in removal defense. Her practice primarily focuses on asylum cases, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) petitions, humanitarian visa applications, and family-based petitions

Prior to starting Vonnahme Immigration, Jill was a founding partner of Marmol & Marmol, PLLC, and previously an associate attorney with an area immigration firm.

Jill graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree from Creighton University in 2009 and a law degree from the District of Columbia, David A. Clarke School of Law in 2013 with the same distinction. She has been a member of the Virginia bar since 2013.

Jill is fluent in Spanish as a result of her studies in El Salvador and the Dominican Republic.
